Enrolment Policies

Adults Classes

Starting out at The Circus Spot?

The Circus Spot takes enrolments on a term-by-term basis.

Class sizes are limited. In order to ensure a place we recommend you book early. Enroll in a second class and get 15% off the cheaper class.

Places are not secured until a deposit of $50 towards class fees has been made. The balance of class payment must be made before the start of term. Deposits are not refundable. Term fees must be paid in full - we cannot offer discounts if you intend to miss any classes during the term.

What to bring to a class at The Circus Spot?

Please come in comfortable stretchy clothes such as leggings, shorts and t-shirts. Bring a water bottle and a hair tie if you have long hair. All classes are barefoot, so footwear is not required.

Please arrive on time, as the warm up is an important part of the class.

While in class

  • Please respect the experience of your coach:
  • Follow your coaches instructions at all times. This includes warm ups and cool downs.
  • Check in with your coach if you want to try something new.
  • Don’t try things you haven’t already been taught.
  • Don’t try to teach tricks to your classmates.
  • Conditioning exercises are an integral component of your training. Even if you are tired, conditioning will benefit you and make your next class easier.
  • Resist the urge to use your phone or text during a class. We want you to get the most out of your session, and focus on your training. Texting can be a distraction to you and your classmates, and can affect your safety.
  • If you would like to take photo’s of yourself during class, please be considerate and discrete, and of course do not get let your camera or smart phone take your focus away from your training. It is embarrassing for both you and your coach if you need to be asked to put a phone away if it is interrupting the flow of the class.
  • Remember, your coach is following certain progressions for a reason!

This is to ensure the safety of yourself and your classmates.

Missed classes and refunds

Refunds may be given if notification is given in writing before the first class of term.

The Circus Spot does not offer refunds for missed classes, a change of mind or any other reason.

Missed classes can be made up during your enrolment period – unfortunately, we do not offer make up classes in the following term.

Students must be booked in to attend make-up classes. (Please don’t arrive for a make-up class without booking as there may not be space). To book a make up class please contact The Circus Spot via the contact form, email or phone 9354 7825.

We ask that students wanting to attend a make up, arrive 10 minutes before the start of class and check in at the front desk.

Although we will do our best to acomodate students for make up classes, these are not garanteed. The Circus Spot reserves the right to withhold make up opportunities for any reason at any time. Make up classes are limited to 2 per term unless specifically organised in advance with management.

Supervised training can also be used as a make-up class and there is no cap on numbers for attending this. We really encourage this as availability is ensured. Please note: Supervised training is only available for adults enrolled in a level 3 class or above.

A credit can be given if you need to cancel for medical reasons (a medical certificate must be provided), please notify The Circus Spot in writing (verbal communication will not suffice). A credit will only be given for the remaining classes after the date that your written notification has been received.

Promotional photography
